Archaeological Semiotics 2020 – ongoing

There is a secluded pebble beach not far from where I live that was most likely a resting place on the ancient trade route that passed along this way. Kerns of stone tools have been scattered by the waves so now they are strewn along the full stretch of beach but can be identified with steady eyes. I have arranged them here.

Running parallel to this discovery was the discovery of old nails that had concentrated around a small harbour beach in Sydney. Amassed they speak of sea dwellers lives, boat craft and fishing expeditions or just the spaces where whales once gathered.
